The last Book Club meeting was held at the home of Debby Remis on October 17th. The discussion revolved around the book “Great House” by Nicole Krauss.
The next Book Club meeting will be at Alison Russell’s on Tuesday, November 27 at 1:30 pm. The book to read is “The Zookeeper’s Wife” by Diane Ackerman. For more information, please contact Netta.
Debby Remis is planning another Games Day on Sunday, November 18th. Penny Hardin has volunteered to have it at her home. Please RSVP Debby or Penny if you are interested in attending.
Women’s League is co-hosting JEWISH VIENNA: AN OVERVIEW OF EIGHT CENTURIES by Professor Joseph Patrouch, director of the Wirth Institute for Austrian and Central European Studies, U of A. This lecture, open to everyone, will be at Beth Shalom on Sunday, December 2nd at 2 pm. Watch for more information and check out the poster on the bulletin board.
