The last Book Club meeting was held at the home of Debby Remis on October 17^th. The discussion revolved around the book “Great House” by Nicole Krauss.

The next Book Club meeting will be at Alison Russell’s on Tuesday, November 27 at 1:30 pm. The book to read is “The Zookeeper’s Wife” by Diane Ackerman. For more information, please contact Netta.

Debby Remis is planning another Games Day on Sunday, November 18^th. Penny Hardin has volunteered to have it at her home. Please RSVP Debby or Penny if you are interested in attending.

Women’s League is co-hosting JEWISH VIENNA: AN OVERVIEW OF EIGHT CENTURIES by Professor Joseph Patrouch, director of the Wirth Institute for Austrian and Central European Studies, U of A. This lecture, open to everyone, will be at Beth Shalom on Sunday, December 2^nd at 2 pm. Watch for more information and check out the poster on the bulletin board.
